Lansing Man Arrested After Attempted Theft in Lansing


A 47-year-old Lansing man is behind bars this morning after police say they caught him trying to steal copper pipes from a vacant home.

Lansing Police say a person flagged them down around 11 o‘clock last night after hearing suspicious sounds.

They were directed to the 800 block of North Pine St. where they found the suspect inside the vacant home and arrested him.

The suspect is scheduled to be arraigned today.
