The City of East Lansing has a new city council member.
According to our media partners at MLive Lansing, council members chose Kathleen Boyle to replace Don Power, who resigned from his seat last month.
Boyle previously served on the city's Housing Commission.
She will represent the Red Cedar Neighborhood.
