Flipped Semi Shuts Down Holt Road

Posted:

Emergency crews are working to assist in an accident on Holt and Dietz between Williamston and Webberville.

Two people were involved in the accident, one in a semi-truck and one in a pick-up truck. Though the extent of their injuries is currently unknown, both are being treated at Sparrow Hospital. A medical helicopter flew the driver of the semi-truck.

A semi-truck has flipped over and is upsidedown in a ditch. A hazmat team is on the scene cleaning up fluids leaking from the semi. They have been pronounced non-hazardous, but cleanup-investigative crews are still sorting out the scene.

Police believe one vehicle was going eastbound on Holt and the other southbound on Dietz when the crash occured, but which is which is still unclear.

Holt Road was shut down.
