Police Say Suspicious Death Could Be Drug Related

Police say a suspicious death in Jackson may be the result of an overdose.

Deputy Chief John Holda tells 6News they found a syringe and pills at a home in 1400 block of Sweet Ave.

A 46-year-old man was found dead a home around 2p.m. Thursday after state troopers went to investigate a case of check fraud.

Police are still waiting for autopsy reports to determin an official cause of death.
