Health Alert: Company Recalls Meat for E. Coli

Raw boneless beef trim products imported from Canada by XL Foods, Inc. have been recalled after company had a positive test of E. coli. on September 3. The products subject to the recall were distributed in California, Michigan, Nebraska, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wisconsin. Within these U.S. establishments, these products may have been further processed into various products, such as ground beef, ground beef patties, beef jerky and pastrami.
