Police: Lansing Man Crashes Car into House

A Lansing man is expected to be arraigned Monday after police say he crashed his car into a house overnight.

It happened around 12:30 this morning.

Officers say they saw a car speeding and as the 21-year-old driver tried to make a curve at Maryland and East Grand River Avenues in Lansing.

His car hit another vehicle parked in a driveway, then hit a vacant house ripping off the steps and damaging the porch.

Three other people were in the car but no one was hurt.
