Posted:

The Michigan State Police have confirmed that one of the men involved in last week's accident at Holt and Dietz Road has died.

According to MSP, 65-year-old Lyman Scott Hitchcock of Williamston died at Sparrow Hospital from his injuries sustained during the crash. A 56-year-old male from Perry was at fault for the accident and is still in critical condition.

It happened in Leroy Township around 11:45a.m. on Thursday.

MSP are still investigating the crash. Speed and alcohol do not appear to be a factor.
