Police Ask for Help in Search of Missing Duck Sculpture

EAST LANSING, Mich. — A public art sculpture originally located in Fountain Square as part of the East Lansing Children's Sculpture Garden was recently stolen. The sculpture is a bronze duck valued at $2,500.

The fountain is on the northwest corner of Albert and M.A.C. avenues in downtown East Lansing. The sculpture garden has been a popular focal point and gathering spot in downtown East Lansing since its installation in 2004.

The East Lansing Police Department is looking for tips and encourages anyone with information to contact Detective Candace Ivey at (517) 319-6851. Questions will not be asked if the duck is returned safely and charges will not be pressed.
