Lansing Man Hurt Following Early Morning Shooting

Posted:

An early morning shooting in Lansing sent one person to the hospital.

It happened shortly after 2:30 on the 1600 block of Donora Street.

His injuries were caused by glass from the window and police tell they are nonlife-threatening.

The 40-year-old victim told police he was waiting for someone when the car behind him started shooting. The man then took off after realizing his head was bleeding and drove straight to the hospital.

Officers were on the scene looking for evidence and picked up several bullet casings, but at this point, they have no one in custody and are still looking for a motive.
