2 Boys Could Be Charged For Playground Fire

Jackson prosecutors are looking to charge two young boys for setting a fire that destroyed a playground.

According to MLive.com, an 8 and 9-year-old told police they set the August 25th fire at Partnership Park.

Jackson County Prosecutor, Hank Zavislak wants the boys to be charged as juveniles.  Zavizlak is seeking restitution for the damaged playground and says the two could be enrolled in an intervention program.

Since the fire, community members have come together to clean up and help raise money to rebuild the playground.
