Dumpster Fire Damages Jackson Business


JACKSON, Mich. (WLNS) – A Jackson businessman says he believes the fire started overnight on Sunday in a dumpster outside of his business was intentionally set.

The blaze broke out around 3:30 at Gregory Optical, which is near the intersection of North and Wisner.

There were no injuries, and the owner says all of the damage was external.

Fire officials have not commented on a cause, but say the fire is under investigation.
