1 Request for Assistance, 3 Attempt to ID


Police are asking for help in one request for assistance and three attempts to identify. 

Request for Assistance

Early in the morning, on Friday May 25, officers were dispatched to the 2500 block of Newark, in Lansing in response to a shooting. Upon returning home, 29-year-old Domonique Ardister, was approached before leaving his vehicle and was shot. Ardister died later.


A witness states that a light colored SUV/Mini-Van may have been involved in this incident.


The Lansing Police Department is asking anyone with any information about this incident to contact the Detective at 483-6859 or Crime Stoppers at (517) 483-STOP.



Attempt to Identify #1

On Sunday, September 12, officers were dispatched to the Hazel and S. Holmes area, in Lansing, for an assault call. During the incident, the suspect walked up to the victim and with no warning struck, the victim multiple times in the head.


After threatening the victim, the accused left the area.


Lansing Police believe the pictured individual has information that may be critical to the solving of this case of assault. Anyone with information as to the identity of the person is asked to contact the Detective at 483-4611 or Crime Stoppers at (517) 483-STOP.




















Attempt to Identify #2


On Saturday, September 8, officers were dispatched to a local party store in Lansing, for an attempt to use a bad check.  

The pictured individual, a heavy set black female, attempted to use a fraudulent check at a local party store.  

The Lansing Police is asking for your help in identifying this individual. You are asked to call the Detective at 483-4158 or Crime Stoppers at (517) 483-STOP. 

Attempt to Identify #3


On Tuesday September 18, officers were contacted about a fraudulent use of a person's credit card. The victim received a call from the Bank and was advised that their credit card had been used on at a local gas station. After receiving the call, the victim realized that his wallet had been stolen out of his vehicle. 


At a later date, the victim's card was again used at a service station and declined. Pictures of the transaction were obtained and available to the left.


The Lansing Police Department would like to identify the person in the pictures in order to collect information on how they came into possession of the credit cards. If you can identify this person you are asked to call the Detective at 483-4612 or Crime Stoppers at (517) 483-STOP.
