House Fire in Lansing Sends One Woman to the Hospital


Crews are investigating the cause of a Tuesday morning house fire in Lansing.

Fire officials say they got a call around 6:30 to the 6-hundred block of Samantha Street in Lansing.

The fire started on the top floor and when fire officials arrived, flames had shot out from the front of the home.

They say it took about a half-hour to put out the fire.

The two women who live in the home are being assisted by the Red Cross. One of the women was taken to the hospital with burn injuries. We do not know the details of her condition at this time.

A fire investigator was at the scene. 6 News will have any updates on this story as they become available.
