Suspects In Custody After Jackson Bank Robbery

Two people wanted for armed robbery in Jackson were taken into custody Wednesday.

It happened at the Jackson City County Credit Union around 9:15 in the morning.

With police close behind, the suspects sped away, crashing into a house near Jackson and Biddle street.

It could be related to six other robberies that have occurred over the last month.

"It feels good, but it's too early to pat ourselves on the back, we have a lot of work to do," said Jackson County Sheriff Steve Rand.

That's because Sheriff Rand says they can't rule out that 20 year-old Kesean Wilson and

17 year-old Breanna Crawford aren't the only ones involved in a string of bank robberies that date back to August 8th.

"We have information to believe that they are still local, we also have information to believe that this isn't the end of their activity," Sheriff Rand said.

It has led three key arrests including Wilson and Crawford, but also 59 year-old Roger Ozier, who was also wanted for armed robbery, but police say there could be more.

"I want to assure people that they're safe, this is several acts we believe are perpetrated by a small group of people and I just want to assure the public, that we are doing everything we can to assure that it doesn't happen anymore," Rand said.

Police are also looking for 21 year-old Darius Griffin who's wanted in connection for a robbery on an Aeroquip on October 8th.

A reward is offered for anyone who has information that leads to the arrest of

Griffin or anyone else who may be involved in these robberies.

The three arrested Wednesday are expected to be arraigned as early as Thursday.
