Dozens of people are expected to pipe up tonight about a plan that will put-up dozens of wind turbines in Clinton County.
Fowler Farms LLC wants to build 40 wind turbines in three townships.
The company started researching the project in 2008 and says the wind farm could produce enough energy to power about 18,000 homes.
In addition, Fowler Farms says the project will be an important economic opportunity for the county by create jobs and generating more than 32 million dollars by using locally sourced building materials.
Once it's finished, the turbines would bring in more than 8 million over the next 20 years.
But many have concerns over things like property values, noise levels, shadow flicker and exactly where they'll be built.
That's why the Clinton County Planning Commission will host another public meeting tonight.
It starts at 7 PM at the Courthouse on State Street in St. Johns.
The public is encouraged to attend.
