Further south, another local unbeaten 7-and-0 Michigan Center, trying to put a stranglehold on the Cascades conference title traveling to Manchester.
First quarter, Manchester strikes first. Nick Cozart barrels into the endzone for the short touchdown, Manchester up 7 to 0.
First play of the second quarter, Michigan Center's Dylan Zaborowski finds Drew Dowding who charges down field for the score. They miss the extra point. Manchester still leads 7 to 6.
Final minute of the first half, Zaborowski with the quarter back keep, finds the endzone. Michigan Center up 12 to 7, but they go on to lose their first game of the season 21 to 12.
