Lansing police are still looking for a suspect after they say someone robbed and pistol-whipped two customers at a mini-mart on Monday morning.
It happened at Buddies Mini-Mart at 801 S. Martin Luther King.
The victims pulled into the store to purchase cigarettes. The driver got out the vehicle while the passenger stayed in the car.
Police say the robber walked up to the car, pulled out a gun, and told the passenger to hand it over. The victim gave the accused a small amount of money and was then hit repeatedly in the head with a handgun. The suspect also took the victim's cell phone.
When the says the driver approached the car, the robber ordered them to give up their money, then hit that person several times, as well.
Both victims suffered minor injuries.
The suspect ran away and was picked up someone in a car.
Police describe the suspect as a 20-to 30-year-old black male, 5'10" with long hair pulled back into a wide pony tail. He was wearing a red hat with a white "C" in the center.
