Fans have been gearing up with merchandise, from hats to jerseys. One sporting goods store in Lansing says he's having a tough time keeping shelves stocked, but welcomes the business after some tough economic times.
For those willing to push out the bigger bucks, tickets to the potential World Series games in Detroit went on sale Wednesday morning and quickly sold out. Prices ranged from $110 for upper deck seats to $310 for the on-deck circle.
The official Tigers site says there is a chance for more tickets to go on sale at a later date, but you'll have a better chance of getting them by buying season tickets for the 2013 season.
Tickets are also available on other websites like Stub Hub and eBay. This morning, they were going for as much as $2,900 for the on-deck circle and $300 for standing room only.
