Tom Cullimore is the founder of "HOPE: Help Other People Eat" and has helped put more than 100,000 meals on peoples tables over the last eight years.
Cullimore has served nearly 7,000 meals so far this year through the program. There's no cost to the hunter to have their deer processed, they just have to donate it.
Today, he picked up around 400 pounds of meat at Bellingar Packing. Cullimore delivers the venison to more than a dozen pantrys and shelters through out Mid-Michigan. He says this year they're in desperate need and serving more families than ever.
Meat is one of the most costly parts of a meal to buy and to many donation centers, this donation means everything.
"As long as I can do it, if I live to be 90 and I can still crawl, we're going to be at it," said Cullimore.
