Lansing Man Killed in Motorcycle/Car Collision

A Lansing man is dead after his motorcycle crashed into another vehicle.

According to State Police, the collision happened Sunday at Noon at the intersection of Grand River Highway and Francis Road in Clinton County.

Witnesses told police an on-coming vehicle turned in front of the motorcycle causing the crash.

The 71-year-old on the bike was taken to Sparrow Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The 16-year old driver of the vehicle was also taken to the hospital but later released.

The accident is still under investigation.
