It's day six in the search for a gunman who opened fire on nearly two dozen cars from Ingham to Oakland county.

Last night investigators were able to tie bullet fragments from Livingston County and Wixom to one gun. Ingham County is also waiting to get their results back on a shell casing found on Friday.

Another victim has come forward saying last Thursday their car was hit, which brings the total to 23.

A $12,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has offered $10,000 and CrimeStoppers of Detroit and Mid-Michigan is giving $2,000. With more than 250 tips pouring in, investigators say they're working around the clock.

Some local schools are also taking precautions. Shiawassee County's Perry has a message on the district's website saying for the next couple of days, students will be kept inside during school hours.

If you have any information, call 1-800-SPEAK-UP or CrimeStoppers at 517-483-STOP.
