CrimeStoppers: Armed Robbery, Stolen Snake and Wanted Felon

Police are looking for the man who walked out of a pet store on the 1100 block of N. Cedar with a snake in his jacket Monday, October 8.

 

An employee was told by a customer and that someone had stolen a snake. Video surveillance showed the suspect took the snake from a tank and placed inside of his coat. The suspect walked out of the store and went east bound on E. Grand River Ave.

 

 

The suspect is described as a hispanic male, 20-30 years old, medium height and weight, with short black hair, and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a brown leather coat, white shirt and blue jeans.

Police are also looking for a man responsible for an armed robbery complaint Tuesday morning in the 2400 block of Michigan Ave. in Lansing. At approximately 1:50 a.m., the suspect entered the store and stated he had a weapon. An employee gave him an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect left the store running westbound.

 

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5'9" - 5'11", 20-30 years old and was last seen wearing black pants and a striped hooded sweat shirt with horizontal red, white, and blue stripes.

On Monday, October 8, officers were dispatched to a pet store in the 1100 block of N. Cedar in reference to a retail fraud complaint.

 

An employee was flagged down by a customer and told someone had stolen a snake. The employees then checked the in store camera and were able to watch the theft. Employees stated that the accused took the snake from a tank and placed the snake in his coat. The accused walked out of the store and went east bound on E. Grand River Ave.

 

The suspect is described as a hispanic male, 20-30 years old, medium height and weight, with short black hair, and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a brown leather coat, white shirt and blue jeans.

Maya Joy McCombs has a felony warrant for assault out of Lansing and police need help tracking her down. McCombs is described as a 29-year-old black female, 5'03" and 105 pounds.
