Sports Bars Prep for Tigers in Game One of World Series

Tigers fans are fired-up for the first game of the World Series against the San Francisco Giants, bringing in big numbers to sports bars to cheer them on.

"The better that the Tigers have done, the more our business has just skyrocketed. With the patio weather today, we're just expecting a full house, it's gonna be great," said Christina Grass, the manager at Reno's West. "We have gotten so much food and beer, we're just really trying to stock up. And we installed a bunch of new HD Tvs."

Orange beer, baseball themed foods and plenty of Tigers fans: that's the plan for Harper's Bar.

"We've stocked up on more orange coloring for the beer. We've made different drinks so we've purchased different merchandise for those," said Trisha Riley, the owner of Harper's.

Riley says these games are the perfect way to draw more people in and generate some more business.

"People wanna go out to watch these games, they don't wanna sit in their living rooms, so I think it's a huge thing. We're gonna try to get it a happy place tonight, lots of cheering," said Riley.
