A total of 25 vehicles have been shot at along I-96. Here's a breakdown of when the events happened:
- The first incident was reported on Tuesday, October 16th in Oakland County.
- From there, the shootings spread through Livingston County and into Ingham, with at least 16 cases reported by Thursday, October 18th.
- As of four days later on October 22nd, the number of cases had grown to 24 and also included shootings in Shiawasse County. Officials also announced the creation of a multi-agency law enforecement task force, all working together to find the suspect.
Police say the man in the sketch at the left is the suspect in the string of highway shootings. Witnesses say the man drives a dark colored vehicle that resembles a '98 Osmobile Aero or 98' Toyota Camry.
