Local Tigers Fans Cheer On Team

Dozens of local Tigers fans stayed to the very end of the fourth World Series game at Reno's West on Sunday night.

The game was the Tigers' last chance to stay alive in the World Series. Fans said they would stick by the Tigers, win or lose.

"It has been an enjoyable ride for all the fans watching Tigers baseball this season," said fan Morrio Nash. "It was an excellent season. Cabrera, triple-crown winner? Awesome. And I just love the fact that all the Detroit teams and Michigan teams are winning right now."

Nash said he'll never stop being a "die-hard Tigers fan."

Tigers fan Adam Kwiecien said he had high hopes coming into the start of the baseball season. "A little rocky start at the beginning of the year but I never doubted them once and never stopped believing."

He says he has not missed a single Tigers game since the season started, and does not plan to miss another.
