"Everlast Lighting" which is part of "Full Spectrum Solutions" in Jackson will bring new life to Lambeau Field, the home of the Green Bay Packers.
Business has been booming for Jackson-based Everlast Lighting, which specializes in energy-efficient lighting for roadways, parking structures and other facilities. Now, business is about to get even bigger.
"Lambeau Field is probably one of the more high profile jobs we've done. Our fixtures are perfect for those kinds of large-scale facilities where they're able to save significant dollars on energy," said public relations coordinator Kyle Leighton.
The $300,000 job will also help the stadium meet building codes. The lights have to be able to turn in 10 seconds if there's an outage.
"It's really great to be connected or associated to something like that, on that kind of scale. It makes me feel proud, and I know it makes the employees feel well, as well," said Leighton. "We've been experiencing pretty aggressive growth here in Jackson, and we'll continue to look forward to more growth."
The company has also done plenty of work here in Michigan, including at U of M and also at Cobo Hall for the Detroit Auto Show.
