Lansing Police responded to a call for help after a man shot himself in the head.
It happened Tuesday morning on Illinois Street.
The man was confirmed dead at the scene.
Officials say the 24-year-old Lansing man caused the accident and they don't believe there was any foul play or anyone else involved.
Lansing Detectives are still investigating the matter and the case is presently considered open.
