Lansing Police are trying to find the man who attacked another man with a baseball bat, then beat and stabbed his dog to death.

It all unfolded Tuesday evening inside his home on the 1600 block of Linval Street.

Investigators say the attacker showed up with another man and knew the 39-year-old victim. He was reportedly hit several times on the head with the bat. He is in stable condition.

The man's 7-year-old pitbull was also stabbed to death.

The pair also got away with some electronics.

No one is currently in custody.
