Summer campers not put off by cooler weather and look forward to Fall adventures.
A woman who mummified her boyfriend for two years after he died learned her fate this Halloween.
72-year-old Linda Chase will now go to mental health court and will not serve jail time after pleading guilty to larceny by conversion.
Police and prosecutors say Chase collected and kept at least $28,000 in social security and pension checks meant for Charles Zigler.
Police found the 67-year-old man covered up in a living room chair in mid-July. A medical examiner was called to the scene and determined Zigler died of natural causes around Christmas 2010.
6 News spoke with Chase after the body was discovered. She said while she recognized what she did was wrong and has regrets, she didn't do anything to be "heartless."
Zigler's family spoke out against Chase earlier this summer, saying she deserved to face murder charges, after she reportedly didn't call an ambulance once he had died.
She was originally facing multiple counts of forgery, according to the Jackson County prosecutor's office.
