Jackson Shell Gas Station Robbed Again

Jackson Police are looking for the man who robbed a gas station twice in one week.

The first incident was October 27 around 3a.m. at the Shell on the 800 block of Wildwood Ave. It happened again on October 31 around 11p.m.

Police report that in the first incident, the suspect entered the gas station, showed a large knife and demanded money. He fled the store with an undisclosed amount of money and the clerk's wallet. They say the second incident was similar. Officials say the man walked in to the store and told the clerk he had a weapon. He ran away with some cash and the clerk's wallet.

He left going west in what Jackson Police believe was an unknown pickup truck.

He allegedly told the clerk, "that's what you get for putting my picture out there," regarding the first incident.

He's described as a light skinned black male, around 5'10"-6'2", wearing a black jacket with white markings.

No one was injured during either incident.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Jackson Police Department at (517) 788-4100 or the TIP line at (517) 787-0212. A $500 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.
