Hazmat Crew Cleans Up After SUV-Semi Crash


A hazmat crew is actively working to clean up a fuel leak from a semi-SUV collision.

It happened around 10:30a.m. Monday on M-52 and Iosco Road in White Oak Township. Police say the driver of a white Ford Expedition crossed the center line and hit a smi going southbound. The driver was taken to Sparrow Hospital with serious injuries. The semi driver was not injured.

Ingham Township Fire Department cleaned up about 30 gallons of diesel fuel spilled from the semi because of the collision.
