Mid-Michigan Organization Continues to Send Relief to East Coast

New World Flooding of Mid-Michigan is trying to help out those on the east coast. The group took donations Friday for Hurricane Victims.

They stopped in Battle Creek, Kalamazoo and Lansing. They'll head off to New York with the supplies.

People have donated blankets, pillows, towels, non-perishable goods, water, toiletries and coats.

Joshua Thompson, the driver of the supplies, said they just got back Wednesday and are leaving again for another delivery.

"We talk about patriotism in America, you know? This is the right thing to do," said Marcus Coleman, New World Flood Director.
