The Springport Fire Department is working to figure out what happened to a man in a hunting related accident.

The fire chief tells 6 News the 26-year-old Florida man was found below a tree stand. It happened around 6p.m. Thursday in Springport Township in the woods.

His condition was unknown, but we were told he was flown to the University of Michigan Hospital.
