Thousands Across Mid-Michigan Celebrate Black Friday

Local stores opened up early this year making Black Friday less hectic and more easy going for shoppers and business employees.

Our reporter Annie Chang was live on scene this morning at the Meridian Mall, where she spoke to many shoppers and store owners about the turn out.

The store managers and owners from Legend Sports, Defye, and Gloworks toys in the mall all say that it was extremely busy at midnight once everyone could begin shopping, but cleared slightly throughout the night. Now that it is hitting morning hours they say that it has started getting busier.

Meridian Township Police also reported that there were no big incidents, and the night went really well.
