Stolen Car Crashes Into Building

Police are trying to find the person or people who stole a car and crashed it into a building.

The crash happened near the intersection of Simken and West Holmes Roads - that's on the city's south side - around 3:45 a.m.

However, officers say they weren't called to the scene until later in the morning.

They say whoever took the car crashed it and left the scene.

The car crashed into a three story brick building, taking out a few of those bricks.

An officer was heard on the scanners asking for someone to take a look at the building to make sure it was still structurally sound.
