Ingham County Police Chase Ends in Arrest

A Lansing man is behind bars for speeding away from Ingham County Sheriff's officials in a stolen truck.

Deputies tried to pull him over around 12:30 Monday morning near Jolly Road and Dunckel Road in Lansing, but the man didn't stop. Authorities say he eventually crashed the truck in a person's backyard on the corner of Jolly Road and Ora Street, then took-off running.

Police K-9 units tracked him down and arrested him a short time later; officials say he was hiding in a children's play house in a backyard.

The man will now face a judge on several charges, including drunk driving and possession of a stolen vehicle.
