Man Arraigned in Mt. Pleasant Homicide

25-year-old Curtis Richard Leachman was arraigned on open murder and witness intimidation charges Monday in Isabella County Court.

Police believe Leachman stabbed 20-year-old Tyrone Stanley downtown Mt. Pleasant Saturday.

If convicted, the suspect could face a maximum of life in prison for the open murder charge alone. Witness intimidation carries an additional maximum of 10 years.

Leachman is expected back in court Thursday. He's being held in county jail with a bond of $1,000,000.
