Woman Charged After Police Say She Stabbed Her Boyfriend

A Lansing woman has been charged with assault with intent to commit murder after police say she stabbed her boyfriend several times.

Investigators say 52-year-old Laura Stevens used a knife to hurt her 56-year-old boyfriend during a fight.

It happened Tuesday morning inside a home on the 500 block of Beech Street.

The man is expected to recover from those injuries.

Stevens is due back in court early next month. She's currently being held on $150,000 bond.
