State Senator Rick Jones is proposing quite the controversial idea: dissolve the struggling city of Detroit and absorb it into Wayne County.
Jones says all options should be considered as the idea is tossed around Lansing.
"If this goes to federal bankruptcy, every employee down there will suffer, the city will suffer and the vultures will come in and take the jewels of Detroit and they will be gone," he told the CBS affiliate in Detroit.
It has come up in the past, but it's never played well among Detroiters.
On the radio yesterday, Governor Snyder said he wouldn't count anything out.
