Guns Stolen From Gun Store

MASON, Mich. (WLNS) -- Ingham County sheriff's officials are on the hunt for a man who stole guns from a gun store.

The break in happened around 4:30 a.m. Saturday at the Total Firearms store near Cedar Street and Holt in Mason. It was all caught on surveillance tape.

Investigators say the suspect cut a hole in the shop's garage door with a saw and sledge hammer. Once inside, he smashed two glass counters and took seven hand guns.

No employees were working at the time.

Investigators describe the suspect as six feet tall, last seen wearing blue jeans, a Spartan cap, and a face mask.

Officials also believe he left in a dark Pontiac G6. 6 News is working this story and will have more on 6 News tonight at 11.
