Kelsey's Law Supporters Urge Lawmakers

A group has planned to gather Monday at the state capitol to urge lawmakers to pass Kelsey's Law.

This legislation would ban 16 and 17-year-olds from using their cell phones while driving.

Lawmakers and safety leaders are now pushing the house to pass it before it expires at the end of the month. The Law passed legislation this last March.

It's named after Kelsey Raffaele, a Sault Saint Marie teen who was killed in an accident in 2010. She was using her cell phone when the accident happened.
