'Tori Saves Christmas' Raises Money for Foster Kids

A fundraiser is going on right now to raise money to buy gifts for area children in need this Christmas.

The 24-hour event called "Tori Saves Christmas" is in honor of Tori Croff, an 8-year-old who drowned last year. It's taking place at the Avenue Cafe on Michigan Avenue in Lansing.

A $10 donation is suggested. That money will be used to buy presents for children in foster care. The event ends at 9p.m. Wednesday and features local comedians, musical guests and story telling.
