Michigan House To Vote On Right To Work

The Michigan House of Representatives meets at 10am. They're taking up two bills - Senate Bill 116 pertains to private unions and HB 4003 pertains to public/government unions.

If these bills pass without changes, they'll move to the Governor's office for his signature. As of this morning, we don't know if this will happen today or not. The governor suggested it would happen sometime this week: http://www.wlns.com/story/20313535/governor-expects-to-sign-right-to-work-this-week

An official with the House suggests that the vote will happen sooner rather than later.

Meanwhile, thousands of people have poured into and around the Capitol to try and stop this - or at least make their feelings known. http://www.wlns.com/story/20313778/protesters-march-on-capitol

We've got a bunch of reporters on this: Tim Skubick covering the Legislature, Emerald Morrow and Annie Chang inside the Capitol, Deanna Falzone and Chivon Kloepfer outside the Capitol, and Maria Hechanova keeping tabs on the police.
