Religious Leaders to Testify Against Gun Carrying Legislation

Religious leaders from across Michigan plan to be at the capitol Wednesday to speak against the legislation they say would make it easier to carry guns in churches.

According to the Michigan Coalition for Responsible Gun Owners, the senate bill would allow all concealed pistol license holders to be exempt from pistol free zones.

Additional training will be needed to be allowed to carry in the zones though.

The plan is to testify against this legislation at the house committee.
