Woman Charged With School Bomb Threat

An Ionia County woman is behind bars and facing charges after sheriff's deputies say she made a bomb threat at an elementary school.

The threat forced the evacuation of the Palo Elementary School late last month.

Investigators say Veronica Lynn Haring turned herself into the Ionia County sheriff's office today.

Prosecutors charged her with one county of making a false report or threat of a bomb or harmful device.

The 38-year-old also faces one count of violating her probation.

A judge set her bond at $15,000.
