UPDATE: Residents Return Home After Gas Leak

UPDATE - Crews have capped the gas leak and residents are now allowed to return to their homes.


ORIGINAL STORY - Lansing Police are evacuating homes near the intersection of Waverly Road and Hunters Ridge Drive.

Officials say it's due to a gas leak.

This is on the city's south side, just north of Holmes Road.

Police officials say that they have streets blocked off in the area.
