Police Investigate Infant Death as Suspicious

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- A baby girl has died from internal injuries and Lansing police are investigating her death as suspicious.

Detectives responded to a local hospital just before 1:00 p.m. Friday on reports an infant was being treated for serious internal injuries.

Police have identified the baby as 3-month-old Janayjah Sanders of Lansing. She was pronounced dead just before 10:30 p.m. Friday night.
