According to Lansing Police, someone opened fire into a vehicle, putting one man in the hospital.
It happened shortly after 1a.m. near the intersection of Sheffield Boulevard and Waverly Road on Lansing's south side.
A 19-year-old man was shot multiple times. Officials say he's in critical condition, but is expected to survive. The other person in the car was not hurt.
The driver of the car drove four miles away to Washington Street, just south of 496 and called 9-1-1.
Officials do not think this was a random shooting and believe the victim may have known the attacker.
