Posted:

Eaton County Sheriff's officials say 60-year-old Donald Brownlee of Howell was thrown from his vehicle and died on the scene Wednesday morning.

The accident happened during the morning commute on southbound I-69 near Charlotte. Brownlee lost control of his SUV and crashed in the ditch.

Deputies blame icy conditions for the accident.
