Teens to be Charged With Animal Cruelty

Two teenagers are being charged with multiple counts including animal cruelty and breaking and entering.

The boys are 13 and 14-years-old from Parma and Sandstone Township.

Jackson County Sheriff officials tell us that the teens stole rifles from an area farm then shot a dairy cow several times at close range from the Milligan Dairy Farm.

Milligan says Missy the cow, was shot in the neck and died a few days later from her injuries.

The breaking and entering charge is from two separate occasions when the teens broke into the Parma Township Library.
